We are not arguing that there were Ukrainians who collaborated with
German Gestapo units, nor that some Ukrainians took advantage
of the prevailing conditions to rob Jews and their homes.
What we are arguing is that there were Ukrainians who helped Jews,
even though it was dangerous for them to do so.
And currently, or at any other time, it is not correct to blame all
people
of a given nation for the crimes committed by some of that nation.
