First of all, your question is most welcome here. This is the right place
to discuss Jewish Bukovina family history and genealogy.

Could the name you mention have been shortened somewhere along the way? Do
you know where in Bukovina they originated? In the Jewish Cemetery of
Czernowitz, there are similar though longer names: Tenenbaum, Tennenhaus,
Tennenbach, Tennenblatt, Tennenhauser. See

Another approach: Go to <http://czernowitz.ehpes.com>, click on "Ehpes
Database" and try your luck with "City and Business Directories",
"Czernowitz Birth/Marriage/Death Records", and the searchable archive of
posts to the list "Czernowitz Archives".
