.Hi! There is some confusion here.I have a book called "Geschichte des K&K
Bukowina'schen Dragoner_Regimentes General der Kavallerie Freiherr Piret de
Bihain Nr.9. This was published in Wien in 1892. As far as I know the
Erzherzog Albrecht was Dragoner-Regt Nr 4. No9 were based in Czernowitz
with a couple of squadrons in Sadagura. Where did you get your

Congratulations for this forum, you are doying an awesome job. I read
it every day with pleasure.
I have a small question: I'm looking for the archives of the old
dragonaer/cavalry regiment nr. 9 "Erzherzog Albrecht", based in
Czernowitz. My great-grand father fought in this regiment during world
war 1. His name was Giosan Alecsa (sometimes spelled Alexa or Alexie).
Do you now where I can find it? Any clues/photos/nfos will be highly
appreciated.
