Mimi, My German is weak, but you may be interested to know that in Germany, where I was posted in the 1950s, the film version of theTennessee Williams Streetcar Named Desire was known as Endstation Sehnsucht and the posters gave it that name. Of course that title jibed nicely with the times and the plot.
