Subbotniks are not Seventh-day Adventists, religiously they are
virtually Jewish and recognized as such by the Israel's Law of Return.
Subbotniks were moving to Israel from the late 19th century. E.g.,
Rafael Eitan and Alexander Zaid (founder of Hashomer and kibbutz Kfar
Giladi) were originally Subbotniks.
