The work-camp most certainly will not take place under Russian
occupation.
Some of us, including myself, still remember how difficult it was to
leave the "paradise"
of "Comrade Stalin". Stalin is dead, but Putin seems determined to be
no better.

I sincerely hope that the Russians not only will not proceed further
into the Ukraine,
but will also withdraw their forces from the Crimea.

I had thought of announcing the definite dates for the CJCRO work-
camp this week-end.
Because of the political situation, I think that it unwise to talk
about definite dates,
but the probable dates are: from June 25th or 26th till July 7th.

So as not to overburden the correspondence on the Czernowitz-List,
those of you who plan to participate in the work-camp, please respond
to me privately.
