The attitude in prewar WW2 towards the Hutzuls, was not of liking,
nor of particular dislike. They were not thought to be particularly
anti-semitic,
but they were considered wild countrymen.
There was a singsong in Yiddisn referring to Hutzul women:
"Naketeh Hulitzeh tanzt auf der Politzeh."
(Naked Hutzul woman dances on the floor).
