That's why I think Elitist is more appropriate. The nobleman always feels superior to the peasant.
A well-to-do Jew can feel superior to another less fortunate Jew. In neither case is it anti-Semitism.
In the first case it is Elitism. In the second case, it's either the same or, as Freud might say, self-loathing.
He sees something of himself in the other that denies is in him.
