Will they never learn. Some folks seem to be locked into a time warp.
Europe including Ukraine, where the anti Semitic hackles are raised again.
Czernowitz seems a good example of a once vibrant city of arts, letters,
industry etc. because it had Jewish progressive population.
To day a beautiful shell, something is missing, its the heart & soul of its
former inhabitants.
Hardy puts it so succinctly in his snippets.
