I would like to advise Moshe and all others who plan to visit
Czernowitz,
that there currently is an orthodox synagogue and rabbi in Czernowitz
and possibly there also is by now a strictly Kosher restaurant
attached to the synagogue.
Observant Jews can spend Shabbat in Czernowitz without transgressing
on religious laws.
