Anna Pauker came from a small village near Vaslui.
I dont think she ever was in Czernovitz.
Strange as it seems, there a few notorious personalities who are not frum ..
But we can fix this

Anna Pauker was from Czernowitz she came from a pious family. True she was
very active in the Comunist party. During the war she went in an exchange
to Soviet Union. I do not know the fate of her parents during the
Czernowitz calamity. After the war she became Prime Minister of Roumania
she had very close ties to Moscow. I doubt that she did much to alleviate
Jewish problems. The Roumanian hated her , to them she was a Jidanca.
