Dear Yosef,

My mother Erica (nee Grunberg) attended LF2 "Lycee Oltea Doamna", the
headmistress was Sylvia Balan. Erica was at LF2 from about 1934(?) to
1937.

Your cousin Erica is probably younger than my mother, so I am not sure
that she would have known her. Hedwig Brenner attended LF2, but Hedwig
is older than my mother, so it is perhaps less likely that your cousin
would remember her. (Though Hedwig seems to know everybody!)

I am interested that you say that your cousin was at LF2 in the class
which was meant to graduate in 1946. This would seem to imply that LF2
("Oltea Doamna") still existed during the war. I would be really
interested to know in which year Lycee Oltea Doamna ceased to exist. If
your cousin could shed any light on that I would be most grateful.

Another question for your cousin - does she remember in which building
LF2 was situated? In 1937 the school moved from the Landhausgasse to
the Siebenburgerstrasse, opposite the Volksgarten. Can you ask your
cousin if the school was opposite the Volksgarten?

It would be very interesting to know what years your cousin attended
the school.

Best regards,

David
