Thanks, Corrine,
Normal has two meanings :
1.sound of mind
2. regular , ordinary.
If there were many kinds ,sorts of schools , normal would be the lowest.
The same would be achieved by ommiting the adjective.
But then we would be left with no subject to prove our sharp minds.

Beyond all the benefits of being a list member - and there are many! -
I always enjoy messages such as yours Edgar and Hardy!
I never thought about what 'normal' meant when describing a school.
It used to be the only word in French to describe a teaching school
even if it now sounds old fashioned. I even went to one!
So thanks for making me reflect over my own language!
Just an opportunity to say how good it is to read messages from
Czernowitzers from all over the world every day!
I couldn't do without my dose of daily pictures, stories, sad or humorous,
and interesting comments on our history.
Thanks for all the work you are doing.
Best regards,
Corinne Schimmer
