GEB is the abbreviation for "geboren", i.e. born.
Great work, Mimi, and many thanks to the group which did all this work.
My grandfather Abraham Meerbaum died in Nov.1942. His grave looked just
like many in the photographs, very sunken in the ground, and around
incredible thick vegetation. It was not easy to find. So I had the grave
redone by a local stonesmith in 2006/7 and he made quite a large
"monument". I wonder if someone else saw or photographed it. Don't know
how it looks nowadays.
