I reget to inform you I have just returned from Chicago to Jerusalem after
the funeral of my Czernowitz born mother Fritzy Gronich Blaustein
(1929-2014).
She lived in Czernowitz until 1944 when her family escaped to Palestine.
While looking through family pictures I came accross a picture my
grandmother sent to her aunt in 1919 with the prefix "Wohlgb." My father
translated this as "well born or of good blood"
I'm glad to know I come from good blood. Are any of you familiar with this
prefix to addresses?
Oded Blaustein
