In 1944 and 45 was the Banderovtsy time in Czernowitz:
All Soviet red shields of official buildings were smashed at night.
Soviet army personnel in uniform were gunned down after sunset.
( they used to change to civil)
Every day or so military funerals
And then the Soviets started hunting the down and the
insurgency subsided.
In this action the Soviets got our full support
