you just proved my point. Immigration is not a stroll in the park. Only because your family made it, it doesn't mean that it was easy for them.
As for you questioning the families motives for leaving, think about Maccabees. They could have it all and pretend that they embrace the Greek life, but it took one Jewish priest and 5 of his sons and the history was changed.
It's called free to be yourself.

I watched her interview on BBC. It's all started with a commercial for Barbie. The best part was "she got to keep the he doll". The rest you know. I would be surprised they left so she can become a star.
