Yes
I have the same happening to me
I am 84 year young
I spoke German with my parents and sister until about 1960
I spoke German withy family and Yiddish with my grandfather
Latter I learned French when I lived in Paris
The other day suddenly I remembered the following in German
" Eine good gebratene Gans is eine gute gabe Gotes"
And
wier Wiener Wescherinen wolen weisse Wasche waschen wen wiesen wo warme s wasser ware"
Excuse for spelling mistake
