The splendor of the East :
For 14 years I lived in Czernowitz, not realizing
what a splendid , wonderful and unique place it was.
Some houses were nice.
The Residenz was impressing.
We didnt live in the Residenz.
The Volksgarten had many trees.
The trees were tall and cast shadows.
Everything casts shadows except ghosts,
The Ruska where I lived was shabby ,
Morariohgasse full of mud
Now it is eine Kultur Metropole.
