I do not remember the village name, but he was proud that this village is
mentioned in one of Aharon Appelfeld's book.

Does anyone know in which village Yitzhak Biran was borne?
After the death of his first wife my great-grandfather Yaakov Fruchter from
the village of Klivodyn married a woman who's last name was Birnbaum and
they had three children, who's descendants still live in the US and in
Israel.
