For having a collective memory there are a few
preconditions:
I must remember ,you must remember etc.
If I never knew about Celan while in Czernowitz.
So I couldn’t have known the house where
his parents got married.
Hard to remember things you never knew.
But it is nice to remark in a discussion:
" Me and Paul Celan, we come from the same place "
And leave them open- mouthed.
