Dear Jerome, Dear Alejandro,

as far as I know, you don´t have any rights re-establishing Austrian citizenship, „just“ because one of your grandparents was Austrian - only parents count.

In principle it should be possible to get an transcript of the original birth register from the cz archives, but you have to find someone, who goes there for you.
Best, b

He has in his possession a copy 1938 document from the then Romanian govt. to that effect which can't be used as it is not an 'original'. I have posted this document on the Blog at: http://ehpes.com/blog1/?p=8321
