Dear all
My mother has left a number of her pictures with an aunt. When I was 23
years old this aunt died and her husband sent these pictures to me. When
my dear mother perished in the camps I was only 10 years old.
The only knowledge about those pictures is when I can recognise someone.
So about the picture I showd the only person I know of is my mother
sitting in the lowest row on the right side
(left side when you look at the picture) Har name was Klara Lekker, born
in 1900 in Storonetz Putila.
This brinbs me to another comment:
In the book "Geschichte der Juden in der Bukowina" edited by Hugo Gold,
Eugen Rosner from Petach Tikwa Tels about the vilagest that belongd to
the Kultusgemeite Putila and mentions 9 vilages. But Storonetz is not
among them. That made me doubt if I remembered corectly the birth place,
but in the last picture list there is a picture of Storonetz Putila.
