The four trips I have made to Bukovina I landed in Lviv and travel by car 4
hours each way to Czernowitz with my driver/interpreter/guide Serhiy
Bilichenko, who planned all travel, researched family in the national
archives, and arranged accommodations. He is a qualified interpreter in
English, Ukrainian, Russian and Polish. Serhiy has been called up for
military service, but may be able to recommend a guide if you choose to use
this route, which passes several notable towns in Galicia and Bukovina, before
his tour of duty ends.
