The JewishGen Online Burial Registry has just been updated with
approximate 70,000 new records, including 1,420 from Czernowitz. Many
thanks to Noam Silberberg and Eddy Mitelsbach for their continuing efforts
to complete this project. We anticipate finishing all records/photos
available by the end of 2015.
Today’s update includes the following areas

Areas 91+112 (323 burials)
Areas 113 + 130A (161 burials)
Areas 114 + 130B (219 burials)
Area 87 (184 burials)
Area 110 (153 burials)

Altogether, there are currently 22,985 burials in Czernowitz listed in
JOWBR.
Other Jewish-Bukovina cemeteries include in JOWBR are located in Gura
Humorului, Suceava, Radauti, Cirlibaba, Bucecea, Arbore, Banyliv, and
Sadagora.
