Dear all,

I think the photo was taken at the crossing of Synagogengasse and Bindergasse - so looking west. With a little imagination you can recognize two lanes.
You can see the construction site at the retirement home (if place and viewing direction is properly determined), so it was not taken before the 1880ies.
Any other assumptions?
