Sorry Shelley, I disagree with you. I lived in Romania, had a Romanian
passport, spoke Romanian as I had to in school, but at home, with my
friends, everywhere we spoke Czernowitzer Deutsch, a special language
which, until today, I recognize anywhere. Until I came to Israel I didn't
feel at home anywhere, spoke the language of the countries I lived in but I
never felt Romanian. My mother was until she died Austrian, that's where
she was born. anny
