Here is Theodor Bikel performing the song Belz.
In Yiddish.
My kind of Yiddish.

Sad.
Here is a factoid I added to the group back in 2009 (for those who might be
interested now):
For your historical notes:
Famous Jewish actor, folksinger, guitarist, author, lecturer and storyteller
Theodor Meir Bikel was born in Vienna in 1924. However, his parents were
from Chernivtsi.
His father, Joseph Bikel (b. Josef Hasenfratz), dated my paternal
grandmother, Amalie Lobl, and his mother, Miriam Bikel (b. Maria Gisela
Riegler), dated my paternal grandfather, Chaim Riven Bernhard. Obviously,
things didn't work out on either side, which is good for me!
Riven (Richard) met Amalie after both entered the US, in 1920.

His autobiography (from google-books) shows that his father was Josef
"BICKEL" from Czernowitz (or "Sergie"?) and his mother's family were
RIEGLERs from Unter Stanestie.
More than 35 years ago, as a student in Wisconsin, I remember vividly how
he lingered after a performance just to chat with us students. He seemed
to have all the time in the world to connect with us. I never expected
this from such an accomplished artist.
