Various trees are called "Acacia", but the one planted in Czernowitz
is " Robinia pseudoacacia", which is native to Eastern North America
and is a very invasive species only good for the making of fence-posts,
because it does not rot easily.
Hardy, Please tell me the Hebrew name of the tree from which
the tabernacle was built. It well may be another type of Acacia.
