Dear Ruth,
Thank you very much for sharing your "Bershad Document" at our Ehpes.com Blog
http://ehpes.com/blog1/2015/08/30/bershad-document/
with all of us, displaying your signature on a receipt for 90 R.K.K.S. (Reichskreditkassenschein), this German military currency during WW2. Since your document corresponds exactly with the Ghetto Prisoners Database as per my June 28 posting at
http://hauster.blogspot.de/2015/06/good-news-from-region-state-archives-of.html
please let me ask you as follows:
1. Is it just a coincidence or did you trace the document by the Ghetto Prisoners Database?
2. What was purchasing power for an amount of 90 R.K.K.S. (f. i. in bread or milk or eggs)?
Thank you once again and warmest wishes!
Edgar Hauster
