Dear Edgar,

1. If my memory does not deceive me, I received this document from the USHMM. I believe it was Dr. Radu Ioanid, who found it. He also provided me with the entire list of repatriated orphans from Transnistria.
2. For the 90 RKKS, I was able to purchase, for a few weeks, a slice of bread and a sliver of butter from the local peasants who were now allowed to sell their products in the ghetto. I even indulged in a dish of meatballs, that I later heard, was made of dog meat.

With my very best wishes for a happy New Year,

Ruth
