Bukovina and Transnistria, 1940-44

Czernowitzers...

It was fellow member Tal Moshe Zwecker, who drew as early as 2011 our
attention to a collection of articles published by the Ukrainian Center of
Holocaust Studies on the occasion of the conference "The Fate of the Jews
from Bukovina and Transnistria, 1940-44". The ENGLISH EDITION of these seven
articles is now available for all of you as "Book of the Month, September
2015" at our Czernowitz Book Corner:

http://czernowitzbook.blogspot.de/2015/09/the-fate-of-jews-from-bukovina-and
.html

Fellow members Marianne Hirsch and Leo Spitzer are illustrating "The Russian
Year" for all of us, while Oleg Surovtsev makes us closely comprehend the
functioning of the Czernowitz Ghetto; strokes of fate to the "Jewish Life in
Bukovina before the Holocaust", as visualized by fellow member Florence
Heymann.
