Lloyd,
I am reviewing all these responses to your question about why people didn't
fight back. It's a question that has been asked for many years by many
people in different walks of life. Books and movies have been written about
those who did and about those who tried and about why people didn't. No
human beings could have conceived of such cruelty by others and were taken
off guard.
I personally find it unsettling to hear those who are part of this list who
withstood such crimes against humanity to defend such a question. You are
fortunate to hear it from those who were there.
