I have built the JewishGen KehilaLink for this community (
http://kehilalinks.jewishgen.org/Nepolakivtsi/ ) and I have asked Edgar if
he could stop there on his way.
These photos are the largest collection exist online of Nepolokivtsi and
Jewish Nepolokivtsi , first and mostly those taken in the cemetery, but
also of the everyday nowadays life of the village.
Actually, the cemetery location and views were unknown to me until now;
unknown not only to me, but even to the International Jewish Cemetery
Project
(see
http://www.iajgsjewishcemeteryproject.org/ukraine/nepolokivtsi.html).
So this is an important contribution by Edgar for the research of Jewish
Bukovina!
Edgar have already sent me the exact location of the cemetery and I will
add
it soon the KehilaLink.
Some of the photos are of the two WW2 memorials from Nepolokivtsi,
the Ukraine (USSR?) one - see photos 11-16 in the above photos link,
and the Jewish Holocaust Memorial: see photos 28, 29, 31, 32.
May I ask please from the members for a translation from Russian
(Ukrainian?) of the memorials so I can add it to the KehilaLink (see photos
16 and 32).
