Jim , Map of 1790 ? Wonderful.
>From this period we have no Jewish traces .
Can a map help us ?
Certainly ! In the hands of the keen observer a map
can tell a long story of past times.
We look for the missing link if there is one,
Interesting .
Even without Jewish revelations,
Hardy

Subject: [Cz-L] new map for our collection
Hi, all.
I recently acquired a 33-piece map of the Kingdom of Galicia and Lodmeria, =
published by the Austrian military in 1824 (updating a 1790 map). One of th=
e sheets of course depicts Czernowitz and environs. I would be happy to mak=
e a scan of that one (or any others in which you might be interested) for t=
he website.
Best,
Jim
