Yes, we do have Jewish traces and even much more than that from the end of =
the 18th century, but you'll have to be patient for another few weeks. Time=
(and me) will tell...!
And, yes, dear Jim, please forward a scan of the Czernowitz area map to me,=
with a resolution of at least 200 ppi, preferably 300 ppi, in any usual ph=
oto format.
