Thank you so much for posting Jorge Schindler's letter to all of us, which I'm going to forward to Dr. Mariana Hausleitner, who just returned from a research trip to Romania. Mariana drew my attention to Florin C. Stan and to his thesis "The Predicament of the Jews from Romania between 1940-1944":
