I don't know who she is but am pretty sure that a few choice words were utt=
ered, to get her hair looking like that.... Tell me: what did one do in Cze=
rnowitz, when one had That Kind Of Hair? In a world without all those chemi=
cal hair products, to smooth out unruly, Jewish locks?
And a related question:
Were girls ever encouraged to wear such hair loose? I recall wearing my hai=
r down, like the little girl in the picture, and being met with harsh criti=
cism.
Were young ladies required to keep their long hair strictly controlled?
