Jorge...

It's Mariana Hausleitner, who drew my attention to the "Book of the Month, =
June 2015 - Death to the War Criminals"

http://czernowitzbook.blogspot.de/2015/06/moarte-criminalilor-de-razboi-dea=
th-to.html

actually a compilation of articles, published by „Scanteia“, the offici=
al voice of the Communist Party of Romania, between May 10, 1945 - June 3, =
1945, covering "The First Trial Held by the Bucharest People’s Tribunal A=
gainst the First Lot of War Criminals", among them Major-General Corneliu C=
alotescu, Governor-General of Bukovina and Lieutenant Stere Marinescu, Head=
of the Czernowitz Office of Jewish Affairs II, known for outstanding bruta=
lity and corruption.

Please download the document from the website, dear Jorge, and go to page 2=
1/38, i. e. Scanteia, May 19, 1945 edition, page 5, and look for the testim=
ony of the witness Ghertner [Gärtner], who bears witness to his deportati=
on to Transnistria, although he was then Polish citizen with a Chilean pass=
port and despite the intervention of the Chilean authorities!

This testimony could constitute an important piece of the puzzle concerning=
your research on Samuel del Campo. I wish you success!
