First of all, thank you Edgar, for the wonderful discoveries regarding
so many topics about Bukowina.
I fully agree with Mimi, Hardy and Cornel as to the location of the
future museum, don't see the point of having it in the Leichenhalle, it
somehow sounds sinister.
I think the Cinemagoga is to big a slice of cake for the city to give it
back or to change its status...It might even be the lesser expense.

  The best might be of course, the location in the Jewish House. I don't
know how the present aspect of the "museum" is. I remember last time I
saw it in 2006 it was in a sorry state, just one room, more of a
literary society -I believe Eliezer Steinbarg-, with photographs of ,
etc. cut out from newspapers and already old. It was at the meeting and
some of us from the group(I can't exactly remember who accompanied
me-who remembers?) gave some money on behalf of all of us to the two
"custodians" in charge at the time.
A great and happy New Year to all List - Members and peace at last
should come to Israel.
