I beg to differ; So far, to the best of my knowledge, neither the Israeli,
Nor the American Hassidic communities, as communities, have either
Contributed money or have done anything to preserve or restore
The Jewish cemetery of Czernowitz/Chernivtsi.
The local Chabad rabbi, Menahem Glisenshtain, has been very helpful
To CJCRO in our work at the cemetery, but this too has not been financial h=
elp.
