Of course, these three rhymes accompanied my childhood as well, but I
don't remember the exact endings.
Does anyone remember this short rhyme? We had a Czernowitz neighbor in
Bucharest, who often lay in bed with a wet cloth on her head and read
for hours. She was called Clara and taught me the following:
Tante Clara liegt im Bett und isst Tomaten
Keine Suppe, kein Gemüse, keinen Braten...
more I cannot remember - the name is interchangeable of course.
(Auntie Clara lies in bed and eats tomatoes,
no soup, no vegetables and no roast...)
Maybe for little children who didn't want to eat?
I find Hardy's three musqueteers adorable.
Again and again, Edgars's trove is a cornucopia of information. How does
he do it? Edgar, Du bist eine Anlaufstelle für alles was Czernowitz
betrifft. (you are an assembly center for all matters regarding
Czernowitz) Thank you is not enough.
