Dear Czernowitzer’s,
I’ve a question about the famous Friedmann Restaurant at the beginning of the Russische Gasse.
The restaurant has been always described as an vegetarian restaurant - also in the „yello pages of 1935“ wich Edgar Hauster presented to this list.
Am I right, that this restaurant also has been a kosher restaurant and „only“ vegetarian on not a vegan restaurant (because of his famous Schmettentorte?)?
Does anybody remember anything about the restaurant - for example: was it opened 7 day’s a week or on which day it has been closed? Has it been a restaurant for lunch and dinner or only for dinner? Except the Schmettentorte, does anybody remember other famous dishes that have been served there? etc.
best regards
Patrick
