The Friedmann restaurant was not a vegetarian restaurant.
It was a "kosher" restaurant which served only "milchidig" dishes,
Meaning that it served fish, eggs, vegetables and fruit, but did not serve any kind of meat.
I do not know whether it was open for lunch.
Like all Jewish stores it was closed on Saturday, But in contrast to non-Jewish stores,
It was open on Sunday afternoon.
It's most famous dish was "borscht".

Except the Schmettentorte, does anybody remember other famous dishes that have been served there? etc.
