it is perhaps the reason many of our parents left bukovina in the 30 's

my father left czernovitz when he was 16 (1928) and suffered hunger when
he tried to arrive in a civilized country

there i found finally a place (except 1939-1945)

there is a difference between democracies with their up and their downs
and what our parents suffered in bukovina
