As far as I know, there currently live in Chernivtsi about 1500 Jews.
You can look for the latest census data.
Most probably none of them were born before 1940.
Clearly, most of them do not care about the Jewish cemetery,
Otherwise would volunteers from other countries need to come to pull out the weeds?
There is definitely one man who cares; his name is Schwartzman,
his mother was from Kaminitz Podolsk, but moved to Czernowitz, where he was born.
He makes all the arrangements for CJCRO, such as hiring workers and supervising them.
