Dear Czernowitzers,
as you all know, Bukovina Jewish history was written in two languages:
"Bukovinian German" and Yiddish.
Next Wednesday, December 7th, 7:00 PM, I will perform in "Yung Yiddish"
club, Yermiyahu 52, Jerusalem. In the program - presentation of my new
album "Tsigele-Migele" - Yiddish children folklore, songs, nursery rhimes
and lullabies, which I have been collecting for many years.
My father, the renowed Czernowitzian Yiddish reciter and composer, has
taught me most of these children songs and rhimes.
All the Bukovinian Jews were children once. This is part of our history.
The wundergirl Ewa Mazia, who took a very important part in the recordings
of the album, will be performing with me.
Piano accompaniment by Haim Tukachinsky.
