Dear All
It so happens that when the Jewish Community was reestablished in
Duesseldorf, Germany in the years after WW2 there were some Czernowitzers
among its members, who along the years became leading activists there.
Nowadays this community is a thriving community who among its other
activities has absorbed Jews from the former Soviet Union. All this lead to
a recent visit of a delegation from the present Czernowitzer community
followed by a fraternity agreement between the Jewish schools of Duesseldorf
and Czernowitz.
