Dear Czernowtzers,
I am very sad to hear this sad news about Hedwig Brenner, of blessed
memory, and want to add my sincere condolences to her family and
friends.
I have very fond memories of meeting Hedwig a few times in Haifa and
also in Berlin and she will be truly missed.
My wife and I also conducted in 2009 an oral history interview with
her about her very remarkable life story.
Does anyone of the other local group members here in Israel know where
and when the funeral will take place? Is it already today or tomorrow?
Is somebody sitting Shiva?
Sincerely,
Emil Rennert
