Tereblesti is a village south of Czernowitz, close to Siret.

In 1945, when many Czernowitz Jews were allowed to leave the Soviet Union
And resettle in Romania, we crossed the border at Tereblesti,
as I remember it, it was a very small village and quite poor.
In 1945 there were no Jews living in Tereblesti. Possibly there had been some
before the war, and they were deported to Transnistria.
